Degolyer, Samuel. Adrian, Lenawee County. Enlisted in company F, Fourth Infantry, June 20, 1861 in Adrian for 3 years, age 33. Mustered June 20, 1861. Commissioned Major on September 25, 1861. Taken prisoner and escaped. Died on August 8, 1863 of wounds received in action at Vicksburg, Mississippi on April 28, 1863.
