Cora H. Bartlett
Cora was one of the “Hello Girls” who served in the Signal Corps Female Telephone Operators Unit during World War I. This was a special unit of women bilingual in English and French who went to France to improve communications during the war.
Cora died of typhoid in the spring of 1919 and was buried in France in the spring of 1919. A gravestone for her was also placed in a Hillsdale cemetery.
